Essential for Pantorouter users. I compared it to the "white" and "orange" bits and the 12-122 was way better for half the price. Or a. (They know I'm not sponsored so I'll just give them a call.) The CMT ran really bad (splitting) and the Whiteside had serious vibration issues at 18-21k RPM. I was skeptical about the $20 Diablo. (Let's face it, this is a Diablo beat. Freud-Freud is next level and I'll go to my helix/compression bits) but they're great for their value. Really impressed. I rarely give 5 stars. but in this case it worked. I tested it on types of plywood that I knew would wobble a bit, expecting some fire. But nothing. Runs it at 25,000 rpm (no load) and the vibration was almost imperceptible (the sawdust I sprinkled on my pantorouter cabinet barely moved). then this is a good choice. You will have to spend over $80 before you can find the best lure for this size or use. I haven't had to sharpen it yet after a good year of hard work. :) So buy them now while they last. Just picked up 3 more of these (1 of 12-122 as a backup), 2 sizes yet to try but will see how they compare to the spiral versions I use. Safe woodworking!
