Ideal for GMRS radio
Installation is as simple as what and where you install the cable. For me through the fire port on the driver's side of a 2021 Jeep JL Automatic. I believe the fire socket is not available in manual mode. I routed the cable to the front of the cab and left the extra one under the dash. Seal the hole in the firewall with flexible tape, but you can also modify and reinstall the plugin. The end of the antenna mount attaches easily to my mount. The bracket was specifically for the end of the GMRS cable, which I think is larger than the CB. No negative reception problems.
