I know everyone has their own filter brand suggestions and arguments, but this works for me. The filter media proved significantly stronger than the Fram Extra Guard when I tried applying pressure and seeing how it responded. My fram filters came out of my engine warped and ruined so I decided to give it a try. The O-ring fits perfectly on my lid. The filter claims it can handle all types of oil, from regular to full synthetic, which is what I use. So the choice is easy, no matter what oil you use. It's supposed to be good for extended drains but doesn't list exact mileage which irks me a little but I change every 4,000 miles and being a K&N I'm pretty comfortable. Yes, it is made in Korea. The price is great, I will buy more.
