Best in class oil filter

K&N makes good products. One thing that's immediately noticeable is that the filter doesn't break after 6,000 miles of use. I've used FRAM filters and the filters invariably break down when removed. This means that not much oil is filtered. Switching to a K&N filter solved this problem. The filter has more folds on the paper element and keeps its shape, which means continuous filtration until the end of its life. I have no hesitation in recommending this filter as a product that lives up to its

I bought about a dozen different filters from different places ranging from basic to premium and after comparing them I settled on these as very good value. Good price, good quality, perfect fit.

I know everyone has their own filter brand suggestions and arguments, but this works for me. The filter media proved significantly stronger than the Fram Extra Guard when I tried applying pressure and seeing how it responded.
