I connected three of these adapters to a 2020 Chromecast release. All three randomly require a full reboot (reconnecting to power) to recover the ethernet portion of the adapter. The activity indicators (connection speed / tx/rx) stay on when the device is idle and the Chromecast device (Google TV) reports that there is no internet connection. A soft "reboot" of a Chromecast device doesn't restore it (reboot within the device), it just drains it completely. This is happening on three of my 2020 Chromecast devices, otherwise I'd say it's a coincidence/isolated from one device. I suspect some kind of firmware update is needed on the Ethernet adapter or on the Chromecast side. This is annoying, I hope Cable Matters or Google knows about it.
