Before you take your boat to the shop and spend a lot of money and usually wait a few months before the boat mechanics even inspect your boat, start simple and easy. I wasn't sure if this was a repair or a change to a '96 Johnson 150 Ocean Runner. Hooked up new relays (I also bought another pair as a backup) and everything worked like a champ. For $15 why not? I never knew it was a wearing part that needed replacing. I bought the boat new and this was the first time I have replaced them. I will definitely change them more often now.
