EDIT: My original joystick misalignment issue turned out to be user error. Part 3 vs 3a doesn't really have anything to do with joystick self-centering, but is more used for metal (thin) and wood (thick) setups. My problem was that I had the part INVERTED. The wider part 3 or 3a should face down. However, in terms of value for money, this kit is definitely worth 5 stars. Buttons and micro switches are good, no problems. But the joystick disappoints. I have Happ, Sanwa and Chinese knockoffs of both and this is probably the worst thing I have. The first one I ordered arrived with a broken joystick body, one of the corner pieces was dangling in the box. Before I brought it back I noticed that the joystick isn't really centered - you push the joystick in a certain direction and it will keep pushing in that direction until you move it again. Most likely a weak centering spring. And when the replacement kit arrived, the joystick behaves the same way. 0 instead of 2. I'll leave it in the console for now, but will eventually switch it to the real Happ. You get what you pay for.
