I have a cabin, omg grille. I have a solar system to power the building. I use a 12v car battery to power the water pump. I use this little solar panel to charge this battery. It's perfect for small jobs but with my pump pumping water all day I doubt a panel this size would charge fast enough but I bought it based on the fact that my new one would work and it does. It has an aluminum frame and I left it outside for a couple of months. Now that winter has come I've used the quick release and brought it inside with the battery pack. I wouldn't be surprised if I could leave it for the winter, I just didn't.
