Very beautiful solar panel. It has a great fit and is very easy to set up. Delivers enough current to keep my battery charged. I bought 30 amps because I plan to install a motion sensor. I also plan to mount the camera on the same post that my gate hangs from. I like having more amps than I need just in case I add something else.

The unit arrived and the Amazon box was smashed and half open. The factory packaging inside has no damage. I found a small piece that looks like it broke off the side of a small charge controller. I installed this charger in my shed where I store 2 bikes and an extra battery. I built a charging system using this solar charger and some extra cables and connected all three batteries to it. A few days later I checked the battery charge and it went up. I just tested them again (after a few weeks) and the voltage is even higher than I've ever seen with these batteries. So it does a great job even in the Chicago winter (we just went 12 days in a row without seeing the sun).

I've waited a year to review this product and am happy to report that it works as advertised in a coastal environment. Light rust has formed on the adjustable stand where water and salt splashes accumulate. Repainted with cold galvanizing to see if it could be stopped. The frame of the solar panel is in excellent shape, which I wasn't expecting as aluminum corrodes quickly in this environment. I keep my boat in a warehouse where there is no electricity. I only take a boat once or twice a week. This solar charger fully charges my battery in 4 days! Battery voltage checked today. The trolling motor battery was used all day on the lake. I charged the battery for 4 days and the voltage was 13.88 volts. Just doesn't work. A solid red light will illuminate when connected to the battery "correct". Contacted support who explained that for those using the battery connectors the red and black wires should be opposite; This resulted in a flashing red light, but proved quick.
