I replaced a very old Bose Cube setup with a Definitive Technology 9080 connected to a Samsung Q7 75" QLED TV and I am absolutely delighted with the result. Honestly the center is -Speakers are quite large, but the performance is excellent. If you think about it, the center speaker is in the same price range as the Samsung Q7 soundbar, but the performance (including bass response) is far better than the Samsung Q7 soundbar/ Bass For those using the receiver as part of a home theater system I would invariably recommend this unit in place of a soundbar/bass module setup, even if you don't pair it with large floorstanding speakers - pair it with Definitive Technology floorstanding speakers (or even normal floorstanding speakers) and your home cinema experience will be spectacular.
