Very clear dialogue and amazing range. Many movie soundtracks play through the center channel, and the built-in subwoofer really bothers and processes a lot of sound at high volumes. This speaker is a really great, high quality part of my home theater system.

I recently got this so it's not officially broken. (Yes speakers have time/use to break in) God that sounds amazing! I used to have Def Tech Pro Cinema and it's much better. By the way... I wasn't paying attention to the size and weight of this huge thing! It weighs 33 pounds so I was afraid it would break my glass stand. I had to put it on the floor and support the shelf. It has curved glass.

This speaker is very immersive and handles all kinds of movies, music and games. An active subwoofer delivers a much better sound quality than my CS 8040 with a passive subwoofer. I bought this speaker about 4 weeks ago and it is now broken in. I use a Denon 6400H receiver to power my 9.2 system which includes all Definitive Technology speakers (9060, 9040, 8040 and Atmos modules). I can only recommend this speaker as a center speaker. You will not be disappointed.

This is a superb center speaker. The product clearly lives up to Definitive Technology's well deserved reputation. Be sure to consider the size factor when choosing this product for your home entertainment system. It's a VERY large center channel and dominates the entertainment center where I sit. However, the quality of the item outweighs the looks of the large box. When you watch TV or listen to music, this product is a treat and you just forget about size (sort of).
