Review on ๐Ÿ’ง Blue Brita Total360 BRDROS Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System for Undersink Use by Alexa Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great reverse osmosis system, but it will deplete your calcium and magnesium levels!

Although reverse osmosis systems are debatable as to the health benefits, I agree that they promote health as long as you get the right minerals in your diet/supplement. By removing lead and other pollutants, you reduce the risk of parasites, brain damage and anemia, as well as lowering blood pressure, nerve damage and infertility. With this in mind, however, the World Health Organization does not recommend the use of reverse osmosis, as it lowers magnesium levels to dangerous levels. Be sure to take magnesium tablets if you only drink reverse osmosis water. Our soil lacks magnesium. Low magnesium levels can cause serious problems, including heart failure, so you need to take this warning seriously. Unfortunately, with the elimination of pollutants, some useful ones are also lost. The installation is not too complicated, but there are many steps to follow. If you're nimble enough and follow directions well, Brita does a great job of providing easy-to-follow instructions. It is written for the layman and detailed for each step. They even explain in detail why it is important to cut the tube ends at a right angle to ensure a proper seal within the quick connectors. I work in the construction industry and consider myself quite skilled. I had a wizard and the installation took just under two hours. We did it over the weekend and weren't in a hurry so we could probably do it a little quicker. Hopefully this gives you an estimate of installation time depending on your experience level. If you decide to buy a reverse osmosis system, this is a great system to buy! However, make sure you're still getting enough minerals (especially magnesium and calcium) from foods and supplements so you don't become deficient. :)
