Suitable for cat beeper

So I got this as a "beeper" for my street cat, because he hides from us in the yard from time to time. The key fob is quite large but light and it doesn't bother him at all, I attached it to his gray collar. I like that I can point him in the wrong direction but still "ping" my cat. The only problem is that my cat found a blind spot under the house that she can't get to. Otherwise he'll come running when he gives the signal, he knows we're looking for him.
