Review on White Expandable Drying Rack by Whitmor by Fatima Garcia

UPDATED/READ BELOW! I ordered this on purpose because I needed a dryer option that we could remove. When folded and stored, it takes up less space than a standard box fan and is narrow enough to be hidden under or behind furniture. When fully built, it's even bigger than the Walmart we borrowed. I like the finish on the metal as I have used lousy racks in the past which would rust and stain from contact with wet clothing. It came with a hex key (brilliant) to tighten the nuts if they loosen with regular use. It takes very little effort to expand and collapse this. My only gripe is that it's a little tricky to lock in and out and I'm afraid I'll get pinched one day, but because it latches so securely this thing is a lot stronger than most shelving. Update: It's like this rack knew I wrote a good review after a few months and it started falling apart on me. I can't count the number of times I've had to use an allen wrench or put small parts back in. At any given time this thing has 2-3 parts. It started collapsing under the normal weight of the clothes and all the screws started loosening every time I folded it (once a week max). I can't wait to just buy a regular rack and toss this piece of junk in the bin!
