Very easy to assemble and keeps my mountain bike safe. Like others, I put the included screws in the parts basket, pulled out a couple of 2" screws with washers, and used that to install. The job is done! You can see in the photo that there is a little pressure on the cables, but they still move freely. I can control and adjust my shifters and brakes, making it both a wall mount and a cheap but effective work stand. It holds my Big Sur with ease and I have an old aluminum frame (not the carbon fiber version) so it weighs at least 30 pounds. I guess time will tell but it seems strong enough to last.
