They went in a snap and I think they improved the screws as they were steel instead of aluminum and thick/long. After a bit of maneuvering I figured out how to hang them vertically so neither of us has to lift our bikes over the other and so far they seem great.

This rack works great. There have been some complaints from other users about the mounting screws. If you drill a 5/32" pilot hole and use the RIGHT Phillips #3 screwdriver, you should be fine. I suspect others have used a smaller Phillips screwdriver, which rips off the head of each screw.

Do yourself a favor and purchase better screws before installing. When I manually tightened the screw into the stud, the screw broke off. If the screw comes out because I'm only using my hands, that shows the cheap quality of the gear they send. So look for better screws before installation. Otherwise the rack is fine and holds the bike.

I like simple products that get the job done and this bike carrier does a good job. I installed it in my shed and it's holding up well. The only problem I had was getting the screw into the stud. I removed it and had to replace it with another screw but I think it was me and not the product. But I definitely recommend it. From the photos it looks like the bike is on the ground, but it isn't. It's just a corner.

This is a solid suspension that screws into a stud. The armrests that hold the bike are padded and the design allows them to be positioned far enough away from the wall to accommodate the handlebars and keep the bike upright. I like it when my bike is slightly off the ground when in a horizontal position. Hangers that hang the bike vertically are too difficult for me to remove my bike and most of the time your bike juts out into your space. I plan to buy two more for additional bike mounting.

Very easy to assemble and keeps my mountain bike safe. Like others, I put the included screws in the parts basket, pulled out a couple of 2" screws with washers, and used that to install. Mine is curved very awkwardly so it doesn't sit flat against the wall. They decided to make it incredibly easy to connect the screw heads with a strip. The rack was purchased to meet the need to swap out tubeless tires and get the bike off the ground during the Wisconsin winter months. I've seen numerous reviews pointing to problems with the screws.
