I bought a nice rug for my second floor but the problem was that every time you stepped on it either you tripped or he stumbled on ours Wooden floors slipped. I bought these hoping they would work and they do! I really made sure my carpet and floors were absolutely clean before putting them on the carpet. I also made sure my rug is where I wanted it to be. We had to place it in the middle of the rug in places because it's quite big and we slipped in the middle. However, we received 12 in total with some left over for another rug. They work really great and better than expected.
