For years I struggled with a heavy trunk on my 2001 Mustang. Actually, I would have to open it, take out the key, put it on the keychain and lift the trunk with both hands (I'm a small woman, so I can't operate with one hand). It was just an annoyance. Now I can just touch it up and BOOM! It just stands out! It takes a little force to push it down, but no complaints! Installation took 2 minutes: using a flat head, 2 clips were removed from the old post, then each new post was inserted with a light tap of a hammer. Although you could use your hand if you were a brute.
