My favorite thing about car and vehicle electronics

I only used my Helix 7 for ice fishing. First I bought a soft face pad. It tore and didn't stand up to the cold and finally blew it off. It's strong yet flexible, even in the bitter cold of a Minnesota winter. My Helix is connected to the Marcum Shuttle, which has a master switch. Without it, I can see this cover accidentally turning the device on because it can rub the power button. No problem for me, hence 5 stars.
