Humminbird Suncover 780036 1 Helix Review

Decent price perfect for my Helix 7 Gen 3.… Love that it's made of flexible rubber, very strong and very snug. The boat hasn't been towed more than 20 miles, but it hasn't moved a bit. I would like Humminbird to give them their devices. Now I want to get another one for my Helix 5.

Manufactured by Humminbird so of course it fits perfectly. love how durable it is. Very well done. Almost $40 for a piece of rubber? This is my only complaint. I just spent $600 on a sonar and now another $40 to cover the damn thing. In my opinion, this is an indispensable accessory.

I only used my Helix 7 for ice fishing. First I bought a soft face pad. It tore and didn't stand up to the cold and finally blew it off. It's strong yet flexible, even in the bitter cold of a Minnesota winter. My Helix is connected to the Marcum Shuttle, which has a master switch. Without it, I can see this cover accidentally turning the device on because it can rub the power button. No problem for me, hence 5 stars.

To be clear I'm disappointed that Humminbird isn't incorporating this into the Helix 7 3GN MSI devices, but it is given their high cost. They seem to make you cheaper for every accessory, but I guess that's how they make money. That complaint aside, the cover is fantastic. It is made of high quality rubber and fits my helix snugly. I have no doubts about this reporting. great product I just really wish they had already recorded that.

This is the best solution for anyone looking for a good case for their Humminbird. Fits very well. But be careful when detaching it from the Humminbird when you need to use the sonar, or you could accidentally pull the Humminbird out of the console while detaching it! Luckily I didn't disable anything when this happened to me. Also, I was able to easily and safely put my Humminbird back into the console. You can rest assured that this cover will not come loose when transporting your boat.
