I hate giving negative feedback on something that seems helpful. When I installed this on my 2013 Edge I noticed an improvement in acceleration after stops and it seemed to get a bit higher on the power curve and then the "Service Engine" light came on. I was fortunate to find an auto parts store with a diagnostic code reader and a technician willing to identify the problem. I didn't tell him about the innovative box until a confused expression appeared on his face and it was strange that the controller and sensors didn't harmonize with each other. When I volunteered that I knew why and showed him the box, his eyes lit up and he said he lied to my ECU and told him the temp was a constant -20F. He went on to explain the implications that such a deception would affect the car's performance - and the improvements were real, but the lights were always on (making that warning meaningless!). I uninstalled it, restarted my computer and voila, the "Check Engine" indicator was gone! Sad to say that while it's made some improvements in performance and responsiveness, I'm too distracted by the buggy "Check Engine" display to find it acceptable. for future use. I think it COULD turn off the warning light, but what if there's something to see? I LOVE both the idea and the art but sorry I can't accept the result.
