Love these bulbs! I have 2 for snake habitat and 2 for my lion habitat. One for daylight and one for red light in each aquarium. What I like best is that they attach to the mesh screen at the top of the tanks. Helpful for me because I can't stop my cats from jumping on their tanks. I've always worried about traditional lamps falling to the ground and starting a fire. They're solid and in place now :) They radiate heat from the bulb so you need to make sure you have the right wattage for the temperature your pet needs. Love them :) saves on energy bills and they are way cheaper than any pet store.
