Review on 🚽 Brondell Inc. S300-RW Swash 300 Round Bidet Toilet Seat, Advanced Features, White by Richard Gross

I have never used a bidet. My wife recently had surgery and used a sitz bath which is cheap but uncomfortable. The Brondell product works very well. At first the installation was easy. I've read that some have said the T-valve isn't the right size. Well, the instructions say it comes from the side of the tank, not the wall valve, and it fits the tank perfectly. My T-valve was metal, not plastic as some previous reviewers have mentioned. I bought the round version of the bidet and had an old Eljer toilet (installed in 2001). I put the bidet in and it stuck well past the edges of the china. Not sure if my toilet is compact or something but it didn't fit me. I have a Kohler Extended toilet in my spare bathroom and I put a bidet on top of that toilet. It fits perfectly, pushed all the way forward and works very well. Luckily, my replacement pan also had an outlet within 3 feet of the toilet, so I didn't have to install a new outlet or use an extension cord. I used double sided tape to attach the remote control bracket to the wall next to the toilet. The hole in the seat is smaller than a regular toilet seat, but it has to be or you risk splashing water up and around a seat with a large hole. When using a bidet I found that I had to sit up straight for it to spray the water properly. Seat heating is a nice bonus! The water heater has 3 settings (or can be turned off) and I use the middle setting. I have the print on the high (third) setting and it seems to be working very well. The soft close seat and lid is good, but you can't stand on it like you would on a standard toilet seat lid as it's too flimsy and only supported at the very front of the lid. I would recommend this seat to anyone looking for a great value bidet option.
