We have two dogs. One likes to gnaw on the collar of the other. We have to wear a tear-off collar so we don't suffocate. Yesterday I put spikes on his collar and the other dog hasn't taken it off yet. I hope this is a solution to a difficult problem. I superglued the threads before tightening them so the rivets wouldn't come loose if the dog tried to chew on the collar. I am sure that under normal circumstances this would not be necessary. Since the collar was nylon, the hole punch didn't work. I used a soldering iron to make the holes and it worked perfectly.
