It does exactly what it's supposed to do. But you need about three hands to guide it. There is a lock button to press and a button to start the gas and a button to start the igniter. It's hard to do everything at once while trying to do something with your other hand. In general I like it. The flame is beautiful. The fact that it's reusable is great. Very flexible. I use mine to light pilot lights and the ability to be critical. If not for the tdst coordination to the light. I would give him five stars
