UPDATE: We really liked this timer, but for some strange reason it stopped working even after a year of purchase. The battery was changed, but that's not the reason. Very disappointed as I feel the $20 timer should last longer than 11 months. I left 1 star because we really liked the timer for 11 months of work. So far it's working great! No crashes or anything like that. My 10 year old uses this for his daily chores and rewards (e.g. daily reading time, video games, bedtime). This is great for the following reasons: 1) it's LOUD and he can even hear it with video game headphones; 2) very easy to use for all ages; 3) It has three different tracking options (clock, countdown, countdown) suitable for specific tasks; and 4) unlike most stopwatches, it's capable of tracking hours, not just up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds. It's a great little tool to carry around for time management. Great to use in conjunction with a daily plan, checklist and more when trying to work on personal responsibility, time management and accountability with children! My son earns his time by playing video games, earning minutes by doing chores, doing homework, reading and other tasks ON TIME WITHOUT REMINDERS OR REMINDERS.
