I bought this to use as a desktop timer. Given how expensive it is compared to other marathon timers on Amazon, I was expecting it to be a lot bulkier than it was. It feels very very cheap. Light weight, no real weight. There are rubber pads on the bottom to keep it in place when you press the keys, but they're only on two corners. Update: I originally gave 2 stars because the LEDs are unreliable. I'm changing it to 1 star now as more time has passed because LEDs are exceptionally unreliable. I bought 4 or 5 of these timers from Revain; and every single one of them had problems with their LEDs after a few months of use. This timer is ideal for the duration of its operation, ie a few months of light non-commercial use. Then the elements in the LEDs begin to fail; or the alarm volume becomes inaudible. It is exactly as described and very easy to use. I don't need the clock feature, but I'm glad it's there so I don't have to constantly pick up my phone to check the time. The problem is that it's very easy to accidentally change the time on the watch. As long as you keep your device out of the way and don't move it much, you'll be fine. UPDATE: We really liked this timer, but for some strange reason it stopped working even after a year of purchase. The battery was changed, but that's not the reason.
