I have these for carving dried rose petal hearts for necklaces, tie buttons, bookmarks and magnets for a friend and family from her mother's funeral flowers. You did a really nice clean cut. My only complaint is that the middle one doesn't cut because the metal doesn't match. I had to get out my tools and manipulate the top and bottom to match and in the end it worked. And sometimes I had to pull the hearts out of the punch but it's ok that most of them just popped out, I left the latch open so they wouldn't get tangled up and possibly spoiled and in most cases they popped out right away .
