They are the same as the ones I buy at the grocery store but at a lower price. I wash them in the dishwasher every few weeks, which I think extends their lifespan and keeps them from smelling. I usually use one to wash dirty dishes and the other to wash dishes by hand. When the one I wash my hands with gets a little out of date, I start using it to wash dirty dishes and pull out a new one to wash my hands.
