Review on Complete DIY Candle Making Set: 600ml Pouring Pot, Candle Wicks, Wood Natural Wicks, Sticker, Holder, Spoon, Aluminum Mold | Low Smoke by Kristen Reid

I bought this set mainly because I wanted wooden wicks and also because it had a metal melting pot and other wicks so it was a good deal for its price. However, I seem to have terrible bad luck with wooden wicks. I soak them in olive oil for a while as people recommend, but they still burn out before they start melting the candle wax. I'm open to any suggestions! Also, since I was a beginner, I've had trouble with dips in my candles around the wicks. I think I'll need to cool my wax a bit before pouring it into the candle I'm making, although I've yet to test this. All in all this is a good kit containing pretty much everything you need to start making candles and getting wooden wicks up and running.
