Review on Dorman Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly 751-272 - Rear Driver Side - Fits Dodge Models by Viswanath Badasz

My Nitro is a 2007 SLT, I am the original owner. I will agree with some of the previous reviewers regarding the need for panel modification. ! The doorknob will not fit into its groove without a Dremel cutout for handle shaft internal clearance. Obviously aftermarket folks need to make this "pocket" deeper to allow room for the inside handle to install and function properly. I love that the center bracket of the window is on a steel rail, but the part where the glass fits is a little tricky to align and lock. It took me a few tries before the glass finally clicked into place. Too bad the right rear regulator kit (751-273) is almost twice as expensive. After installation, my window runs stronger and faster, like new again! Now I have to replace the other side because it's rattling and looks like it's about to fail. There are 2 options for all door controllers; (1.) This model with steel center rail modification or (2.) OEM style ESC kit without steel center rail. I strongly encourage you to narrow your search to find models with a steel center rail!
