My mother and I drink coffee every day. She prefers the moment. We had a wonderful magical giant kettle that we used to boil water for our coffee each morning. Well we have very hard water where we live. And in the last year or so (after Hurricane Harvey) something happened that made things even worse. (I can't even think about it. Life is too stressful and all the other water I drink is filtered except for my cup of coffee or two in the morning - it's just too annoying for me to even go there). So in the last six months we've swapped out two kettles because the hard water particles have overtaken the vinegar. BIG enough that we didn't have to fill it up after a cup! Dan! That's great! People complain that it's hard; Well, yes, that's because you can put enough water in it to drink four full-size cups of coffee (or tea, I think) from the first brew. What a wonderful thing! And this pot keeps the water very hot! We're used to running the electric stove burner on "low" to keep the water warm for our second cups. We have to be very careful with this beautiful pot! Now the pot will continue to boil at a lower "warm" temperature setting (a lower than low setting - sorry, I know this is confusing) and the water level will drop unless we keep a close eye on it! So you all know. Yes. I will definitely be buying this particular kettle again when the time comes for us to get another one! I so appreciate the reviews here on Revain. I always read here before I buy things I'm going to invest in (pretty much anything that seems to be these days). I will definitely come back and unsubscribe if anything changes.
