I've had these brushes for a few months now and was hoping I'd like them better if I tried different canvas materials or colors. However, I have the same problem no matter what I use these brushes with. As soon as I opened the brushes to paint, I noticed hair falling onto my paintings. I work with acrylics and was really disappointed with how little paint these brushes can hold. In fact, the brushes ripped the paint off my canvas leaving white smudges. I have ordered starter kits before and have been very satisfied, so I know good quality at a reasonable price is possible. I may have received a defective kit but all I can say is that I don't recommend it.
