The stone weighs a whopping 7 pounds (think of holding a regular bag of sugar in your hands). I'm strong but it was too much. Then I see the spatula: the rim I thought was supposed to slip under the pizza is really thick around the rim, about 1/3 inch. Turns out I wanted the peel (under the pizza) and the spatula was used to drip the pizza onto the stone. Should have been used as a scrub. These are different items. Know what you need.
