I wanted to get my old watch working again so I looked into the mechanics of the old watch and found this as a replacement. Given the price, I was willing to take the risk. And it works great. The biggest problem was making sure I got the right thing. They're made to go through a certain thickness of material, so make sure you measure your watch or vintage movement accurately and buy the one you need. Once you have it, inserting it into the watch is a simple process. Just a few screws. It comes with instructions, but it's so intuitive it doesn't matter. I didn't use built-in hands (seconds, minutes, hours). The watch was already a great watch. Putting old hands on this move worked well. It won't impress anyone. It's made of plastic and twists quite easily. But it works, shows the time accurately and makes the watch look the same as before.
