My Sound Blaster GC7 experience: - Received GC7 - GC7 unboxed and connected to PC - Downloaded recommended Creative software - Downloaded latest firmware - Firmware installed automatically - Firmware blocked GC7. What I did after installing the firmware, the device does not work as advertised. The 4 small multicolored user buttons turn green but the rest of the device does not work properly. The volume controls were unresponsive and the Creative software didn't even recognize the GC7's connection. In all I spent a total of 1 hour with the GC7 before deciding to repackage it and return the Revain. Read the rest of the reviews and believe them when people say this device is buggy and has software issues beyond your wildest fears. *** DO NOT BUY ***
