Review on 🐠 NICREW Submersible Power Filter with Aeration System and Sponge Filter for Fish Tanks - Versatile Internal Aquarium Filter by Tamara Pyle

This was purchased for my turtle tank in my class - the bottom is sandy but the pump sticks out of the sand. I didn't bother with the instructions and set to work straight away. It's very easy. 5 stars for the value but don't put it where you will sleep. While the pump is still, the waterfall hits the water pretty hard. It's not loud enough to be an issue in class (although I'll likely turn it off for regulatory testing), but I can see it being an issue if you need silence to sleep. Donatello loves to play in the waterfall. It only works for 5 days so I can't speak to endurance. I will update again if it dies on me. Update: The pump is still running but I thought it died when it became clogged. I cleaned it up (easy to do) and used a stationery pipe cleaner, folded on itself a few times to really get the dirt out of the transparent waterfall tube. Viola! Like new. 11/26/2021
