Fantastic set for a small family. I use mine to do pretty much anything where I don't want the water to clog and go soft. I sauté baby carrots until tender and I love whole red potatoes too. I steam frozen tamales and love steaming artichokes until the leaves fall off. Although it says you can put it in the oven I tend to think it will ruin the handles in the long run and besides, why? Dishwasher safe, I just wash it in hot soapy water, rinse and drain. PS Remember to use the right size oven if you have a medium/low heat glass range top. Any frying pan is only as good as the care we take of it.
