I ordered this as a vegan alternative to the boar bristle brush. This works well, but the best vegetable fiber brush I've found at the health food store comes in the form of a "vegetable scrubber." rzunimag. It's the same but the bristles are thicker/harder. I think it will last longer than this comb which is falling apart even though I haven't had it that long. I think if you have thin hair this comb will work. Also, the brush is easy to wash with soap and then wipe dry, and it should last as long as you don't get it wet.
