Well last week my flash blew out a couple of times. It got so bad that I lay 1 day. I thought it was the hood, too low a dimming level, or a weak battery, but it wasn't. It turned out that this glow was coming from both my chest under the hood and my partner across the table. I chose this bib based on the price, style and three-sided coverage. Perfect. Doesn't light up at all under my hood. I don't have to lower the hood so far that the inner lens touches my face. I love it. I like how this bib works and protects. My eyes feel great after a long, stressful day. The rubber clips have a nice firm grip and don't move at all. But it is difficult. The clips are as thick as the bib itself.
