Have been using this brand's line of products for 40 years and have bought a lot over the years. In the last 10 years I've seen the quality drop to pure bullshit due to the fact that they were unusable The hinges were tight even after greasing, but in the open position they were so sloppy and loose that I couldn't get them once almost straight. I had the same problem when they closed I've tried other brands lately and this seems to be the new normal for folding rules. I think the old quality and standards are gone. I will definitely not buy again
