I bought a Yamaha Grizzly a few months ago and it's a great ATV. But unfortunately some lights are missing. It has halogen headlights, but not very wide and not very bright. Other than that, some aftermarket LEDs are fine. I bought an AUXBEAM 12 inch LED panel from Amazon. The price was definitely right and the reviews were good. So I decided to take the plunge. Upon arrival, the package was packed very tightly. The flashlight itself was a training light and had a good mount. The problem is that the flashlight itself doesn't come with a wiring harness, so I bought it with that. Another thing is that the lamp does not have a mount for the car. But this can be bought quite simply, or we can bolt it to the frame with a little modification. I choose the mount. I chose to mount it on the front rack...unfortunately the first one I ordered didn't fit. But this one was perfect! I added brackets to the post, adjusted the brackets on the canopy and screwed it on. The wiring harness was simple and easy to install. The wiring harness came with a relay and fuse, which is nice. I taped the connections between the bulb and the relay and routed the wires under the plastic next to the fuel tank and into the battery compartment. The switch has 3M reverse tape and I applied it just above the switch. Pros: This is a fantastically bright LED setup at a nice low price. It's easy to install and gets the job done. Haven't had much time running it yet, but so far it's great. It has a wide beam, with the last four LEDs on each side pointing sideways, expanding the field of view. It's also sealed and claims to be protected from Mother Nature. Cons: The cost of lighting is usually a mark of quality. The time will show. So far the biggest issue I've had with this setup has been that it didn't include a suspension or universal mount. Auxbeam could easily have integrated these elements into one overall package. Review: This is recommended at this time as it is a cheap and easy install. Just know that you need to get bindings and harness. It is easy to install and can be installed in any vehicle. Highly recommended for a hunting quad that needs to see the trail early in the morning. This light is amazing and illuminates every aspect of the path.
