We needed a pot set for our caravan and I wanted something similar to the Cuisinart set I have at home. just the right amount of pots for a caravan or small apartment/house. All pots are easy to wash in the smaller sink and stack and store in small cabinets. These are NOT non-stick pans. If you've ever only used teflon or non-stick pans, you need to learn. When cooking in these pans, you must use oil or other fat to reduce burning. If you have very hard water and boil it, you will see a film left on the pan from the boiling hard water. It also sticks very well after cooking over high heat or when you light something in the pan. All of these problems can be solved by filling the pan with hot, soapy water and letting it soak for a bit. Use a non-abrasive egg sponge (with dots) in the pan to avoid staining with stronger sponges. A cheap plastic spatula is also great for removing stuck food during soaking. Finally, if you have unsightly stains or burned food or very hard water, apply a small amount of Bar Keeper's Friend to a soft cloth and rinse, then wash. immediately with dishwashing liquid. I've had these pans for 10 years now and will never go back to non-stick pans. They just need to be treated a little differently. Once you know what to do, you don't have to worry about nonstick chemicals leaching into your food over time.
