Changed old 2 star rating to FIVE. Why? Here: To update the Autophix 7710 on your computer via USB, when downloading the 2020 update you need an application that will open and read the "RAR" file. If you do NOT have a program that can read the RAR file, you will see a white screen with two orange vertical lines that look like a "pause" icon: Your car. In my case he asked if I had Kuga or Escape. I was able to reset the BMS and four different battery related Ford diagnostic codes (when the old one was weak). Everything worked fine. Posted the day before I gave this article TWO stars: Autophix 7710 will NOT reset BMS on Ford Escape 2016. That was my only reason for the purchase. While you can identify three items affected by a low battery when running a Ford Scan, this field will NOT allow you to clear/reset these individual codes (after changing the car battery). If you next select BCM, then "Reset BMS" (and of course follow the instructions to turn the ignition on) you will get an error message telling you to turn the ignition off and then turn it back on to try again. I tried it i gave up so next tried to update the 'lifetime' free software update another ZERO the ____ doesn't work if you do NOT need the BMS function you might like this. it tells you what was wrong, it just won't let you reset it once the fix is complete.Autophix 7710 will NOT reset BMS on 2016 Ford Escape.Also it won't even update from the 'lifetime' update!
