Didn't realize they were so big and so powerful. Two o-rings and a wrench ensure no leaks when properly installed. They came with their own brackets and heavy bolts. You just have to use the right connections. I recommend using duct tape instead of pipe lube as I had a leak from not wanting to ruin the threads so I didn't tighten it properly. The only issue I had was that installing the filter can be an issue with some types of filters that have a soft waste outlet. The best way to insert the filter is to fill the bottom half so the filter floats higher making it easier to twist a few strands and use a towel.
