Review on Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50614 01 Industrial by Jason Winkfield

We have a high sloping ceiling in our living room and need to replace the old ceiling fan. Found this one and thought it looked sharp. Everything just worked. Bought a 24 inch down bar to get it off a sloping ceiling. The hardest part was finding the right angle. It didn't go past a certain angle at the base of the top lid, so I had to bend it a bit. To allow the ceiling fan to sit flat. It's not an extreme angle, but it's still necessary, which we don't think would be a problem. 3/4" but the bottom that connects to the fan was 1". We had a 3/4" bottom bar that we used and I tightened the set screws so they seemed solid, but this meant we had to balance the fan to keep it from wobbling. We also bypassed the controller module instead of the wall light/fan dimmer. Wiring is as follows: White (fan) to White (socket), Blue (fan) to Red (socket), Black (fan) to Black (socket), Green (fan) to Green (base), Green or bare copper ( Power outlet). ) The blue wire controls the light so make sure you connect it to any dimmer. Really good dimming range. Our old fan was a 50" 6-blade fan and now a 52" 5-blade fan, so we thought the airflow would be very similar, and it is. Not bad for our living room. 3.5W LED bulbs are also included, which I wasn't expecting. My wife loves the look! Excellent price. It's really hard to find better fans at a lower price, so we were very happy to find this one. Definitely recommended for a medium-sized living room!
