Works very well. Can't say much about durability or safety, but it was a breeze to install and the price was reasonable. Look, with the vinyl cover on the bed, if someone wants to climb in, they can just cut open the cover with a knife. You just need to eliminate low-hanging fruit and keep prying eyes off the bed. It will also prevent someone from stealing your back door easily. The only limitation I have is that the lock cylinder is in the middle of the handle and gets in the way of your hands when opening the tailgate. It's not a problem and it's easy to work around, but it would be nice if they could move it to the side of the handle.
