Worked for our application.
I used some of these for minor repairs on my son's pickup. The wire strands turned out to be solid copper, not CCA (copper-clad aluminum). It was good for what we needed and I had no problem with clean breaks. My only negative comment is that the isolation definitely didn't impress me. It performed reasonably well in warm weather but felt stiff in cold weather. Possibly inferior PVC insulation.
