Review on Pacer Performance 2-Piece Black Bumper Protector Pad Kit - Model 25-535 by Michael Colley

Update: 02/11/2019 I want to add it to the front of the Volvo XC70 - the front is not protected. Place a bumper license plate holder on top and add a few of these, one on each side of the license plate. It's a very flat surface so it should hold up. Didn't work on the front of my other Volvo but did on the rear bumper. I wish manufacturers would put such items in their cars to protect bumper trim - which is what a bumper is for, but not protection. Update: 10/13/2018 The ones I installed on the back of my Volvo in 2014 are still attached 4 years later. I was just trying to put a kit on the front bumper. First they fell off overnight, one on the back, the other sticky side down. Deleted the last one and tried again. I washed the car and the bumper was clogged with mud. I taped them and then criss-crossed blue masking tape to hold them for two days. But they are still not liable. Cannot try again because the double-sided tape is damaged by tension or something. Maybe it's because the bumper area isn't level? Find another solution. They looked good on the rear bumper. And helped when another car kissed my rear bumper. BTW I have heli tape on the rear bumper - and it really helps. >>> Cheap and easy to install, this is the best feature, there aren't many others - far from ideal, but sufficient for minimal impact protection. . The glossy finish scratches easily and the product doesn't protrude far enough to avoid serious impact damage, especially when the pad deforms and compresses on impact, which it appears to be - not a solid pad, but a hollow one. Hope it helps a little. It's better than nothing. Only for light kisses, nothing heavy.
