I've never done cross stitch/sewing/anything remotely involved with needles and thread and this was a fantastic place to start. The amount of thread wasn't quite right (or did I just get it wrong? Quite possibly!), but it was easy to substitute/get some more from the craft store. I couldn't figure it out from the instructions alone, but watched a short YouTube video and was ready to go. I'm attaching a picture so any other 100% clueless people like me can have an idea of what it looks like when you go blind. (Sorry folks who are good at this! If I'm doing it wrong please let me know :D). Lots of complaints about the ink drawing not coming off, which I had no problem with at all after following the instructions. I soaked it in warm water and dish soap for about 30 minutes, scrubbed a few slightly stubborn spots and it was gone completely. The needles are very narrow and difficult to thread. Maybe just because I'm not very experienced. I am planning to order another set as I still don't understand how to do it! EDIT: I actually used twice as much thread as I should have (after consulting people who know what they're doing)! There are many. I really liked this project and I also ordered an owl and an elephant. Upgrading the rating to five stars. My criticism of the needles aside, it turns out that three threads are a lot easier to thread than six haha.
